A digitally altered wedding invitation card circulating on Facebook and WhatsApp groups caused confusion in Abuja’s social circles. The invitation, which featured two prominent families, turned out to be an elaborate prank by a graphic designer showing off their skills. The families involved have issued statements clarifying the situation, but not before the “news” had spread to several WhatsApp broadcasting lists and Facebook community groups.
